Unlike most lasers that emit energy at longer pulses, the PhotoAcoustic RevLite™ laser uses only very narrow pulse widths so that maximum laser energy can be dispersed safely and quickly. PhotoAcoustic therapy reduces the amount of heat needed to effectively treat the area, reducing the risk of damage to surrounding tissue. Therefore, PhotoAcoustic laser skin care therapy can potentially treat larger surface areas in fewer sessions, with fewer risks of complications or side effects.

Using groundbreaking new technology, PhotoAcoustic laser skin care therapy provides effective laser treatment for clear, healthy skin without subjecting skin to excessive amounts of heat. Older lasers that use longer pulses can cause the underlying layers of skin to burn. The shorter PhotoAcoustic wavelength pulses are emitted at such a high rate that treatment is delivered before the tissues have a chance to burn, so the pores shrink in size after the procedure.
The PhotoAcoustic RevLite™ laser is also able to penetrate more deeply into skin and stimulate new collagen production at a higher rate than traditional lasers.
