What Is VascuTouch®?
VascuTouch® is a non-invasive treatment for spider veins, skin tags, and other vascular legions that appear on the face and body. The procedure uses low–level radio waves and electrical current simultaneously in order to force the targeted treatment area to coagulate. As the vascular legion loses its blood supply, it begins to fade away, and surrounding tissue is unharmed.
The VascuTouch® Procedure
To begin the VascuTouch® procedure, the treatment area is thoroughly cleaned. Then, a sterile probe is gently guided over the treatment area, delivering low-frequency radio waves and low-level direct current (DC) electricity to the vascular legion. The radio waves and electrical current cause the vascular legion to clot and cut off its supply of blood. As a result, the blemish will begin to disappear back into the surrounding tissue. Final results may not be noticeable until three to four weeks after treatment. One or two treatments may be necessary in order to achieve optimal results.
